Renewing your Fish Tank membership

The current renewal fee is 4,800yen.

Fish Tank ask that you renew your membership upon receipt of your renewal notice which will be sent to you along with your fourth and final FT issue of the year.

For example, if you received your first Fish Tank issue in March, you will be sent a renewal notice along with your December issue.
If you aren't certain when it will be time to renew your membership, take a look at the envelope you receive your Fish Tank in. There is a date printed in tiny font right beneath your address. That is the date your membership expires and your renewal deadline.

You will have to send a cash payment (in Japanese yen) directly to Fish Tank in order to renew your membership. For now this is the only renewal method available to fans who live outside of Japan, do not have a japanese address or a Japan-issued credit card.

Take a look at your renewal form. You will have to fill in a few basic fields indicated on the following scan.

See: Membership Renewal Form

* Your Fish Tank number as indicated on the form.
* 継続 1年 4,800yen (1 Year Renewal, 4,800yen): check this square if FT have not checked it already
* 氏名 (Full Name): write your family name and first name here
* 住所 (Address): write your address here
* Date of Birth: 年 (Year), 月 (Month), 日 (Day)
* 性別 (Sex): choose between 男 (Male) and 女 (Female)
* Your home phone number and cellphone number (if you have a cellphone).

That's all the information you need to enter. Detach the form and send it to Fish Tank along with the cash payment. Fish Tank only accept cash in Japanese yen, this is currently the only form of payment they accept. Since you'll be sending cash, I recommend using a larger, opaque envelope for added security.

* You have to send the payment in Japanese yen. You can order yen at most banks or at an exchange office. However, keep in mind that some banks may take up to two or more weeks to order the yen for you.
* FT ask that you send the payment in the safest way possible: registered mail, courier... Ask your local post office what secure methods they offer. FT won't be able to help you if you send your payment by regular mail and it gets lost!
